Ertan Erdem is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in Hamburg, Germany, with Turkish roots, he studied social economics and spatial design. He completed his studies with an artistic focus. Since his childhood, he has been a frequent visitor to his second home and beloved Istanbul, Turkey, making several trips there each year. Since 2023, he has been living and working in Berlin.

Ertan presents himself as a vibrant collage, a fusion of diverse cultures stretching from the vast expanses of Asia to Hamburg. His versatile roots are impressively mirrored in his works. His creative process is marked by a balanced blend of intuitive spontaneity and conceptual depth.
